My perception of this guy, from this article, is that he isn't out for anything but helping the environment. His approach sounds less damaging to the planet, easier to manage and much more cost effective.
"..thermoacoustic liquefier should be economical at a smaller size, useful for remote corners of the world.." Meaning less giant refineries and less damage to the environment. Someone is likely to cash in big on it but I hope they are as good a person as Mr. Swift seems to be by my perception.
